Nigeria: Boko Haram Insurgency Claims 197 Traders in Three Months - NANTS

The National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS), the umbrella body of all traders across the country, Tuesday put the number of traders killed as a result of bomb blasts perpetrated by the dreaded Boko Haram sect between May and June at 197.

The association condemned the coordinated spate of suicide bombings in various market places which led to the killings of 197 with 137 injured at the El Kanemi and Ngurosaye village market in Borno state, the terminus market in Jos and the Emab plaza blast the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
