Nigeria: Former Taraba Accountant General Remanded Over N1.5 Billion Fraud

Jalingo — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday arraigned former Accountant General of Taraba State, Joel Joseph Lebang, before Federal High Court, Jalingo over a N1.5 billion fraud.

Lebang, who was arraigned on eight count charge, was said to have defrauded Taraba State government of N1.5 billion between January 2012 and December 2013, while serving as Accountant General of the state.
