African Stars and Black Africa will renew their rivalry when they meet in the much-anticipated Standard Bank Namibia Super Cup, on August 30 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
In April this year, Standard Bank Namibia, in conjunction with the Namibia Football Association (NFA) launched the Standard Bank Super Cup worth a sponsorship of N$3 million over three years. The first edition of the cup will be contested between Namibia Premiership champions Black Africa and reigning champions of the Bidvest Namibia Cup African Stars.
