Kenya: Siaya Stadium Shut Due To Lack of Sanitary Facilities

THE Siaya County Stadium has been closed due to lack of toilets. Officials from the Ministry of Health led by subcounty public health officer Odera Wayayi, said the stadium will be reopened after the county government builds toilets.

"Following a sanitary inspection carried out on July 4, the Ministry of Health has decided to close the stadium until such facilities are available," he said, Wayayi said closure notice was sent to the office of Alego-Usonga administrator, which indicates how deplorable the toilets are.
