MCAs from Kakamega and Vihiga counties have said their foreign trips are necessary for effective performance.
Vihiga county assembly chief whip Abdalla Chogo and Kakamega's Mahiakalo MCA Cleophas Malala said the trips are for capacity building. Chogo and Malala said the assertion by the Commission on Revenue Allocation, MPs and senators that the trips are a waste of public resources is unfair.
