Tunisia: President Marzouki Receives Members of Truth and Dignity Commission

Carthage, — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki received, Friday, at Carthage Palace, members of the Truth and Dignity Commission.

The meeting focused on the major and key role to be assumed by this authority in the establishment of transitional justice, a statement of the Presidency of the Republic said.

President of the Authority Sihem Ben Sedrine said the talk was an opportunity to discuss the main difficulties faced by the Authority.

We perceived with the President a willingness to support the action of the Authority and extending all facilities to ensure its success, she said.
