Mozambique: CPI Promotes Investment Between Japan and Mozambique

Maputo — The Centre for Investment Promotion (CPI), in coordination with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is preparing a set of tools to promote investments in Mozambique.

In this sense, CPI will prepare an "Opportunities Business Partnerships notebook (Joint Ventures)", a tool that aims to facilitate the establishment of business partnerships between domestic and foreign investors, to be drawn up in Portuguese and English languages, and distributed during the different missions of investment promotion.

Within this document production CPI is working on identifying Private investment projects and / or Public-Private (PPP) investment projects with following characteristics:

- Mozambican companies interested in establishing financial and technological partnerships and others, with foreign investors; - Investment projects focusing in Agribusiness, Industry, Trade, Tourism, Infrastructure, Energy, Transport and Communications, Education, Health, Fisheries, Mineral resources and technologies areas.
