Ethiopia: Premier Calls for More Ethio-China Cooperation in Manufacturing
Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn called on Thursday (July, 10) for the enhancement of Ethio-China partnership in the development of the manufacturing sector. During his discussion with China's Communist Party (CCP) Secretary, Guo Jinlong, the Prime Minister stressed the urgent need for China's support in Ethiopia's march towards becoming a regional manufacturing development hub.
He also noted that Ethiopia was drawing lessons from China's development and transformation experiences, underlining that Ethiopia firmly remained committed to deepen a mutually cooperative partnership with the People's Republic of China in all areas of common development. Guo Jinlong on his part emphasized that China would continue its sustained support to Ethiopia's manufacturing industry development. He further affirmed that Ethio-China cooperation would be bolstered in the spheres of transportation and city sanitation.
