Kenya: Conjoined Twins Dumped in Toilet At Oile Market

BODIES of conjoined twins were found dumped in a rubbish pit at the Oile market in Kisumu on Wednesday.

Bernard Owino, a cleaner at the market, said he stumbled on a suspicious purple bucket in one of the toilets.

"When I asked whose it was, my colleagues told me the bucket had weird stuff. When I looked into the bucket, I saw the bodies wrapped in a white cloth, soaked in blood," he said.

Owino called vendors in the market to witness the discovery. He alleged the bodies were ferried from elsewhere and dumped at the toilet.

Owino said a colleague told him that a woman came to the toilet but left the bucket there.

They said they only realised she had left the bucket in the toilet after the woman disappeared, Owino said.

"I cannot understand why a woman would give birth and kill her babies."
