Nigeria: Jonathan Restates Commitment to Provision of Affordable Houses

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Enugu, reaffirmed his administration's commitment to provide shelter for all Nigerians, insisting that housing remained crucial to social and economic development of any society.

The president who spoke while inaugurating 324 Units Elim Estate in Nike, Enugu State, said the federal government will not relent in its efforts to provide affordable housing for Nigerians. Jonathan who spoke through Vice President Namadi Sambo, said the completion of the project in Enugu had further buttressed the determination of the government to provide low cost housing for all Nigerians.
