Nigeria: W'cup Flop - Akpoborie, Udi Defend Mikel

Former Nigerian internationalsl Jonathan Akpoborie and Duke Udi have moved in defence of Super Eagles and Chelsea FC of England midfielder John Obi Mikel over what many perceived as an unimpressive showing at the just concluded 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Akpoborie disclosed that the uncertainty regarding the player's future at club level may have contributed to his indifferent outing for the Super Eagles at the world cup. He however urged Nigerians to be patient with the former Lyn Oslo player as he reckons that the player will still come good for the national team.
