Nigeria: Workers' Strike Paralyses Judicial Proceedings in Lagos

Lagos — Judicial activities in Lagos courts were on Monday halted owing to the on-going nationwide strike of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).

JUSUN, by the strike which started on Friday, is seeking the implementation of the judgment of a Federal High Court in Abuja on the financial autonomy of state judiciaries and a technical committee to implement the FAAC meeting resolution of June 17.
