Nigeria: Opposition Says INEC Frustrates Voters in Osun State

Lagos — THE All Progressives Congress (APC) alleged electoral authorities were denying its members permanent voter's cards in an attempt to disenfranchise them in next month's governorship election in Osun State.

In a statement issued today in Benin by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party alleged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) demanded to know which party prospective voters supported before it issued the cards.
