Liberia: Lawmakers Want Salary Increment

Two representatives are pushing for salary increment for teachers, health workers and others in public service. Representatives Acarous Gray of Montserrado County and Bhofal Chambers have written a communication to Plenary of the House of Representatives to effectuate their request.

The two representatives asked the indulgence of their colleagues that as they consider the increment in the salaries of civil servants teachers, health workers, the police and staffers of the Legislature, with parity for both staffers of the House and Senate.
