South Africa: SAMWU Gauteng Province Clarifies Its Stance On Its State of Province

SAMWU Gauteng Province held a successful Special PEC on 16 July 2014 in Ekurhuleni. The Special PEC was attended by all Regions within the Province representing more than 60 000 members of SAMWU spread throughout the Province. The Special PEC showed high levels of unity and discipline and sought to correct all challenges facing the National Union. The meeting was addressed by the General Secretary of the union, Cde Walter Theledi. The Special PEC further filled all leadership vacancies: Cde Caleb Mokoena as Provincial Secretary and Cde Nonceba Mbilini as Provincial Deputy Secretary
