Egypt: Gunmen Kill Police Officer in Sinai's Arish

Cairo — Unknown gunmen killed on Friday a police officer who was on his way home in North Sinai's Arish, sources said.

Security forces are sweeping the area in search of the perpetrators, the sources added.

Two conscripts were wounded on Thursday morning when gunmen shot at them in the Goura area south of Sheikh Zoueid, a military source said.

A missile attack launched by extremist militants on Monday killed eight and injured 32 including civilians in Arish.
