SIAYA county assembly has been urged to develop a policy for the establishment of a monitoring system to track child rights protection programmes.
County director of children's affairs Humphrey Wande said there is a need for a legislation to provide for an integrated system of offering services and information on children issues. He said MCAs should formulate a county child protection system guided by the national child protection framework.
