Tanzania: Efforts to Strengthen Dar, Beijing Ties Should Be Honoured

WE witnessed in the last few weeks Tanzania hosting a historic second Tanzania-China Business Forum where representatives of over 100 companies and 120 firms from Tanzania and China respectively attended. The forum was opened by the Chinese Vice President, Mr. Li Yuanchao and hosted by Premier Mizengo Pinda. Our Correspondent, Moses Ferdinand attended the historic meeting and here is his report...

For some of us who attended the second China-Tanzania business forum, it was easy to note how participants were keen to forge closer business and investment relations. Leaders and business community from both countries talked and emphasised the need for strengthening ties for the betterment of the people of both countries.
