The Federal government has signed into law the new Pension Law repealing the old 2004 Act. Aspects of the new Act impose 10-year jail term on offenders with an option of fine. Some have said that the old Act is inadequate to compel deterrence. In this interview with Yetunde Ayobami Ojo, the Chairman of Capital Market Solicitors Association of Nigeria Dr. Babatunde Ajibade (SAN), a Lagos based legal practitioner and Managing Partner of SPA Ajibade and Co. spoke on these issues and others.
