SPEAKER of Borno State House of Assembly, Abdulkareem Lawan Tuesday denied impeachment plot against Governor Kashim Shettima, assuring that more than two-thirds of the 28-member Assembly is currently in support of the state chief executive, especially as he is battling challenges of insurgents tormenting the state.
Lawan made the "clarifications and denials" in a telephone interview yesterday from Makkah, Saudi Arabia where he is performing the lesser hajj.
