Angola: Burning of Vegetation On Roadside Causes Death of Motor-Cyclist

Caála — A motor-cyclist was run over last Tuesday afternoon by a truck, after falling at Caála/Calenga road, in Huambo province, at a time time when there was no visibility at the road due to burning of vegetation by the roadside.

ANGOP learnt that incident happened due to heavy smoke that caused the said victim to fall off his motorbike and was afterwards overrun by a truck, whose driver did not see the motor-cyclist on the asphalt, due to poor lighting in the area.
