Tanzania: Nearly 60 'Terrorists' Nabbed in Arusha Within Two Months

Arusha — ALMOST 60 suspects connected to various crimes linked with terrorism, human trafficking and bombing incidences have been arrested around the country within the past two months.

The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr Issaya Mungulu, said the latest arrests include 25 new suspects who were flushed out in Arusha during the week, among them six suspicious persons linked with the July explosions at Varma Restaurant here.
