Liberia: Margibi Provides $39k to Ebola Task Force

The head of the Ebola Task Force in Margibi County has disclosed that authorities of the county have made available US$39,000 to help contain the disease in the county.

According to the Liberia News Agency(LINA), the Task Force head and Margibi County Superintendent John ZubahBuway, said the amount, which will also be used to on public awareness about the disease, was taken from the county's Social Development Funds.

Buway said the amount was given with the full approval of members of the County's Legislative Caucus, chaired by District #4 Representative, Emmanuel James Nuquaye.

Meanwhile, the Task Force on the Ebola Outbreak in Margibi County has launched a public awareness campaign in the county.

The Task Force started showing video documentaries as part of a public awareness campaign to the public on the danger of Ebola at a local gas station in Kakata last Sunday.
