Nigeria: Gunmen Abduct Ebonyi Assembly Leader, As Crisis Deepens

Abakaliki — The crisis of leadership rocking the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, on Thursday, took another twist, as barley 72 hours after the impeachment of the Speaker, Chukwuma Nwazunku, the Majority Leader of the House, Sam Nwali has been kidnapped.

Nwali was abducted at about 9:30am on Thursday along Nna Street, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, while on his way to meet with his other colleagues for a meeting.
