Casualty figures increased at Abudwaq following the fighting that took place there between two clans yesterday.
Khalif Abdi is the head of the civil society organizations in Abudwaaq District. He gave an interview to Dalsan Radio this morning and pointed out that at least 10 persons were killed and scores more were wounded. The militias who fought are still near to each other such that violence may escalate. "Somalia has no strong army which can remove those rival militias. If there is strong army in Somalia those militias won't be able to fight each other in the first place". Khalif said.
