The appointment of the former Corps Marshall and Chief Executive Director of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osita Chidoka, as new Minister of Aviation on Wednesday by President Goodluck Jonathan dovetailed with the expectation of industry observers who believed he would be given the aviation portfolio since his nomination a fortnight ago.
Although the appointment may not be seen as a round peg in a round hole, those who know him do attest to his youth, track record and vision, which he ably demonstrated while in the FRSC.
