Eritrea: Inhabitants of Adi-Quala Sub-Zone Extend Labor Support to Families of Fallen Heroes

Adi-Quala — The inhabitants of 21 Administrative areas in Adi-Quala sub-zone have tilled around 900 hectares of farmland belonging to 1,000 needy citizens and families of fallen heroes on the basis of mobilizing 2 thousand pairs of oxen.

Mr. Daniel Desta, head of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, pointed out that the inhabitants have been supporting families of martyrs since 1996 and that the initiative is taken on annual basis. He further indicated that such support would continue till the onset of the Autumn season.

The beneficiary families lauded the support being extended to them on the part of the government and nationals.

The citizens who took the praiseworthy initiative said that supporting families of fallen heroes is the responsibility of all citizens.
