All is currently not well with the Kogi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Members and leaders are not comfortable with Prince Abubakar Audu, a former governor of the state's inability to build it into a viable opposition party, though he is considered a godfather.

Members and stakeholders of the party suspect that he is in bed with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
