Angola - AFDB Chairperson Praises Poverty Reduction Rate

Luanda — The chairperson of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Donald Kaberuka, Monday, in Luanda, welcomed the efforts of the Angolan Government regarding the reduction of poverty levels in the country.

The head of the AfDB made this reference to the press at the presidential palace after an audience granted by the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, who primarily addressed issues related to cooperation between Angola and this African banking institution as well as the development of continent.
