Nigeria: Vertigo Frames, Ogun Begin Visual Arts Talent Hunt

Abeokuta — The Ogun State government has begun a five-day talent hunt among secondary schools students in the state for the purpose of unleashing the creative ability and capability of the students.

The state Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Yewande Amusan, speaking at the June 12 Cultural Centre, venue of the flag-off of the programme, on Monday, said the "whole essence of the programme is to allow the students to think freely and out of the box on the adaptability and import of objects and other gift of nature around them."
