Tanzania: Dar Cleric Counsels Muslims On Proper Idd El-Fitr Conduct

MUSLIMS have been called upon to celebrate Idd el-Fitr by forgiving each other's transgressions, giving alms and ensuring orphans and widows do not go hungry.

The Dar es Salaam Region Chief Sheikh Alhad Musa Salum told the 'Daily News' in the city that Idd el-Fitr is a happy day, stressing that just as human beings seek God's forgiveness, they too should forgive each other.
