Liberia: Ellen Consoles Malaysia On Tragic Plane Crash

President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sent a message of Condolences to the Government and People of Malaysia following the tragic news of the crash of a Malaysian Airline Flight -MH17 in Ukraine, killing nearly 300 passengers on board, including 23 Malaysians.

In the message to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak , President Sirleaf said, "on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in my own name, I extend to you, and through your Excellency, to the Government and People of Malaysia, particularly the bereaved families, deepest condolences for the irreparable loss sustained."

The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty God will grant solace to the entire Malaysian nation during this period of national mourning.
