Zambia: Journalist Writes Libongani Over Koffi Attack

Freelance journalist Jean Mandela has refused to budge to police's casting aside his assault case by Congolose rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide by writing to the Inspector General of Police Stella Libongani to intervene in the matter.

Mandela, who was assaulted on December 29 2012 by the rhumba maestro at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel during Koffi's concert, said he had never closed the case despite an attempt by the police to suspiciously announce that the case was closed.
