Nigeria: Glasgow'll Prepare Athletes for Rio Olympics, Says Nesiama

Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Technical director Navy Commodore Omatseye Nesiama has said the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Glasgow is expected to get Nigeria's athletes ready for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil.

Responding to comments on the expected performance of athletes at the Games, Nesiama said the ultimate is the Rio Olympics in two years time, insisting that the Games will assist in selecting athletes and set aside those that will continue the campaign for medals at Rio Olympics.
