Asmara — The EU Ambassador to Eritrea, Mr. Marchel Gerrmann, pointed out that the continental body believes in building partnership i.e. anchored on mutual interest and shared values.
The EU official who is due to conclude his office stay in Eritrea next month told Erina that the bilateral relations between the EU and Eritrea dates back to 1995 when the Delegation opened an office in Asmara. He further expressed appreciation for the open discussions he had with Eritrean government officials, and voiced EU's readiness to engage in further programs of partnership with Eritrea.
