Nigeria: Ogoke Breaks London Jinx, Tries for Gold Medal Today

Glasgow — With a bronze medal, which she is already assured of courtesy of her quarter-final victory, Nigeria Edith Ogoke, says after banishing the sad memories of London 2012 Olympic loss in the quarter final, she remains upbeat about the chances of earning her first Commonwealth --Games gold medal.

To realise her gold medal dream, however, the soldier needs to clear the obstacle posed by English girl, Savannah Marshall, whom she has set up a semi final bout against.
