Ugandan Maxime Van Pee is in town ahead of the FIM Africa motocross Championship in Nairobi this weekend. Maxime, who will represent Uganda in MX1 class, has been training at Jamhuri Park for the past three days to familiarise with the track conditions well in time for Sunday showdown.
The race will feature riders from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The Ugandan speedster will be up against the Kenyan duo of Ivan Guya and Tutu Maina in what's expected to be a cut-throat regional showdown. Guya is the current MX1 defending champion.
