Tunisia: Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Discussed

Carthage — Means to help provide the necessary medical and humanitarian aid, send relief to the wounded and meet the urgent needs of hospitals in Gaza Strip were the focus of a meeting that gathered, Friday morning in the Carthage Palace, Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki, Tunisian Red Crescent Secretary-General Taher Cheniti and President of the Co-operation and Social Communication Association Nejib Karoui.

According to a press release of the Presidency of the Republic, the Tunisian Red Crescent Secretary-General announced that a second military aircraft will be dispatched, next Tuesday, to Egypt carrying medical aid and relief equipments destined to Gaza.
