Egypt: PM Discusses With FM Developments in Libya

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting on Thursday with Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry over the ongoing fierce clashes in Libya.

During the meeting, Shokry said that his ministry has been in constant contacts with different Libyan political figures to get updated with latest developments in Libya following the fierce fighting among warring militias.

The top diplomat expounded his ministry's efforts to boost the consular staff on Tunisian-Libyan borders to serve the Egyptians returning home.

Shokry briefed the prime minister on the existing coordination between the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation to help the stranded Egyptians return home.

Mahlab, meanwhile, ordered to provide the stranded Egyptians with maximum care and facilities.
