Somalia: Somali Legislator Shot Dead in Mogadishu

Armed assailants killed a Member of the Somali Federal Parliament a short while ago in Mogadishu.

Ther gunmen shot dead MP Sheikh Aden Nur Mader who was the Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee as he was leaving the mosque after he completed Friday prayer.

The murderers immediately escaped the zone which was near Marwaaz Mosque in the Hamarweyne district.

Sheikh Aden Mader was once the State Minister of Finance in former Prime Minister Abdiweli Ali Gaas' cabinet.
