Musoma — MINISTER of State in the President's Office (Social Relations and Coordination) Mr Stephen Wasira is calling for the establishment of a Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Bunda District of Mara Region.
The game controlled area is currently occupied by residents of Nyatwali, Serengeti and Tamau villages. "What is needed is to allow free movement of wild animals and with WMA, wild animals will be able to drink water from Lake Victoria, said Mr Wasira speaking to 'Sunday News' on Thursday shortly after attending a Mara Regional Consultative Committee (RCC) special session that discussed plans to make the game controlled area part of Serengeti National Park.
