Kenya: Handle Lamu Land Question With Clarity

All sides involved in Kenya's febrile political divide need to exercise the greatest caution over the handling of the question of the causes of the massive violence in Lamu.

The revelation that just 22 private companies, a number of them of the most dubious provenance in terms of registration and true ownership, own 70 per cent of land in Lamu County was quite an eye-opener.
