Senators from the insurgency ravaged North East region have welcomed the launching of the Victim Support Fund (VSF) by President Goodluck Jonathan last week. The insurgency has been attributed to the Boko Haram sect.
The fund under the chairmanship of former Defence minister General Theophilus Danjuma (Rtd) is expected to generate over N80 billion through donations from the private sector.
