Nigeria: Niger East - APC's Boycott Threat Meant to Cover Up Unpopularity - PDP

Minna — Niger State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has described the threat by the All Progressive Congress (APC) to boycott the August 30 Niger East senatorial by-election as an attempt to cover up its lack of electoral value.

The APC threatened last week to boycott the by-election, if the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state, Dr. Emmanuel Onucheyo is to preside while alleging that the REC is a PDP card carrying member.
