Nigeria: Danvic Concept, DGB Sciences, Partner PTDF

The local content initiative of the federal government got a boost recently with the donation of modern seismic interpretation software and training worth $4 million to four Nigerian universities by Danvic Concepts International Nigeria and her partner DGB Earth Sciences, Netherlands. The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), through this initiative, sponsored the required training to the universities. The four universities that benefited are Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State; Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State; Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, Oyo State; and Ibrahim Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State.

Dr Mayowa Afe, the CEO of Danvic Concepts International Nigeria who confirmed the development to Daily Independent in Lagos at the weekend, said more than 20 Federal universities spread across the six geopolitical zones have benefited from similar donation. He explained that the transformation of Nigeria will require the efforts of all stakeholders, the government, the private sector and the general public.
