Nigeria: North Central to Witness Bumper Food Production, Says FG

Minna — The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has assured of bumper harvest in the North Central part of Nigeria due to easy access to improved farm input by farmers in line with the Federal Government's new agricultural policy.

The Regional Director, North Central, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Sunday Edibor, disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent in Minna, Niger State capital. Apart from enlightenment and improved farming inputs, Edibor said he was optimistic that the Federal Government's new policy is expected to guarantee bumper food production for greater yields during this year's harvest in all the crops with greater yielding propensity in the region.
