Top officials from Djibouti's Ministry of Health met with representatives from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Monday (August 4th) to discuss strategic communication efforts to improve child and maternal health, the Djiboutian Information Agency reported.
The communication initiatives aim to curb traditional practices that are harmful to women and young children. The initiatives aim to reduce maternal, infant and child mortality across the country.
