Cairo — The prosecution of financial affairs is investigating businessman and steel tycoon Ahmed Ezz over reports of profiteering filed against him, a security source said.
The businessman was given a release order on a 50 million Egyptian pounds bail in July, pending other charges. His lawyer Farid al-Deeb told Aswat Masriya on Wednesday that Ezz paid a bail of 100 million Egyptian pounds on Monday and will be released today or tomorrow.
