Maputo — Mozambican Health Minister Alexandre Manguele and his Mauritian counterpart, Lormus Bundhoo, signed in Maputo on Thursday a memorandum of understanding covering the areas of public health (transmissible diseases), medical research, medical equipment, pharmaceutical products and hospital management.
The memorandum, valid for three years and renewable thereafter, also covers the training of doctors and other health workers, and technical cooperation, including the recruitment of specialists for the short, medium and long terms.
