Nigeria: Maritime Academy Advocates Vocational Education As Panacea to Unemployment

The Rector, Crown Maritime Academy, Mr. Martins Okechukwu has said that as a way of tackling the high rate of unemployment in the country, vocational education must be embraced.

Calling on Nigerian youths to engage in result-oriented and practical studies in tackling unemployment in Nigeria, Okechukwu disclosed at the first convocation ceremony of the academy held in Lagos, that vocational education was a way to gainful employment through acquisition of skills.
